The Tree of Life by Regina Lord is our very first Puzzle. Living in the Southwest, we were naturally drawn to Regina’s use of color and inspiration from Mexican/American culture. For Regina, the Tree of Life symbolizes everything that makes life feel abundant and beautiful. She combines nature’s beauty with flowers, birds, butterflies, the sun and the moon. In addition, she blends aspects of home life with the skull representing our ancestors and feelings of love and music. The Tree of Life also symbolizes productivity with the bicycle for movement, books and key for knowledge. The seeds and the nest represent fertility. We also couldn’t help but notice a skeleton key hanging from one of the branches which is our logo. For all of these reasons, we couldn’t help but fall in love with this piece and choose it for our first puzzle. We hope you enjoy it!
